How to live The Soft Life even when adulting is giving you its worst
Embrace the soft life–release this pattern of: struggling with life → feeling your threshold of pain/stress → drowning in negative reactions. Feel more comfortable in yourself. Hell, feel some joy, too.
Recognize and let go of your habitual reactions of avoidance (which are not working!) when you meet the difficult, vulnerable moments in life.
Its a life overhaul! Completely change the way you relate to these moments of stress, overwhelm, difficulty and all that you want to avoid.
Distinguish between what you’re feeling and who you are. The two are so close but they are different and making the distinction is key to living a softer life.
Identify the negative messages you’re constantly confirming everytime something bad happens and let them go to embrace present reality and come back into your body (no more dissociation!). Back home to yourself.
- Feel drowned by personal struggle
- Don't feel emotions as deeply as you used to
- Are staying busy to avoid the painful stuff that comes up
- Shut down (dissociate) more and more these days
- Have reached your limit of experiencing/seeing negativity in this world
